As a Senior C++ Developer – Financial Software Engineering, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial industry, revolutionizing how financial products are built, tested, and deployed. Your expertise will contribute to creating robust, efficient, and innovative solutions that underpin critical financial workflows, including clearing, confirmation, payments, and accounting. Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize high-performance C++ applications tailored for financial services.
- Automate workflows and processes using shell scripting and C# to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate systems with Git version control and SQL databases.
- Enhance existing software with new features, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Support and maintain financial software solutions, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Contribute to test automation, mapping business processes, and protocol validation.
- Utilize Summit SDK and other tools as necessary to streamline development.
- Participate actively in cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on time.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally within financial services.
- Strong proficiency in C++, shell scripting, and C#.
- Hands-on experience with Git and SQL.
- Familiarity with Summit SDK.
- Knowledge of financial products such as credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, FX, and options is highly advantageous.
- Experience testing and mapping business processes and protocols.
- Fluent in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
- Proactive, autonomous, organized, and an excellent communicator capable of cross-functional coordination.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Python, digital.ai (XLDeploy), Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Knowledge of Back Office workflows (clearing, confirmation, payments, accounting).
