This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a ServiceNow System Administrator, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for configuring and administering the ServiceNow platform, managing ITSM and CMDB modules, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ServiceNow instance.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and deploy the ITSM module (Change Management, Service Requests, Incident Management, Problem Management).
  • Improve business processes and manage continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze the current environment and propose automation where possible.
  • Maintain technical documentation and manage the Service catalog and Service Level Management.
  • Coordinate upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance.
  • Manage permissions and accesses (roles, users, and groups).
  • Maintain instance performance through regular checkups.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operations and system issues.
  • Deploy update sets from non-prod environments.
  • Set up notifications, alerts, and reports.
  • Manage CMDB health and access control lists.
  • Develop and manage standard load templates to import data.
  • Resolve incidents and fulfill routine service requests.
  • Provide process training to business owners.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of both CMDB and ITSM modules.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, administration, and usage.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML, and web services (REST, API, SOAP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow delivery and ITIL best practices.
  • Proficiency in English (B2-C1).
  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Infrastructure and ITOM is a plus.
