Junior Tester – Investment Banking

This is a Hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity.

As a Junior Tester, you will work for our client, one of the most known banks in Europe. You will execute manual test cases, identify defects, and ensure software quality through effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing by executing designated test cases to identify software defects
• Create comprehensive test cases covering various scenarios to evaluate software functionality
• Identify and report defects with detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and expected behavior
• Communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure seamless collaboration
• Monitor and track defects throughout their lifecycle until resolution, maintaining accurate records

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Demonstrated proficiency in using the XRay testing tool
• Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, including SDLC, testing types, methodologies, and techniques
• Ability to design effective test cases covering all possible scenarios and testing software functionality
• Fluent in English 
• Knowledge of French is a plus
