IT Operations Specialist

This is a Hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity.

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will work for our client – the forefront of telecommunications in Portugal, seamlessly intertwining cutting-edge technology and exceptional service to ignite a transformative digital experience. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, monitoring, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee Change Management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions
• Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for accurate and efficient tracking of IT assets and configurations
• Utilize and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance
• Implement and schedule jobs to automate routine operational tasks
• Demonstrate a proactive and autonomous work style, taking initiative in identifying and addressing operational challenges
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in operational processes
• Proficiency in query languages to extract and analyze relevant data for operational insights and decision-making

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Previous experience in Change Management and CMDB maintenance.
• Proficient in query languages for data analysis.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and job scheduling.
• Proactive and autonomous work style.
• Strong process orientation with a focus on documentation.
• Experience in automating operational processes.
• Excellent communication skills in managing incidents with diverse stakeholders
