As an Application Support Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the IT infrastructure and systems industry. You will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of complex IT systems, helping to deliver reliable support that enables digital transformation and operational excellence. Your main responsibilities:
- Provide proactive application support for complex IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates, patches, and improvements.
- Monitor system health and security, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing solutions.
- Document technical processes, support procedures, and incident reports thoroughly and accurately.
- Assist in the deployment of new systems and features, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in both English and French.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for support workflows and service quality.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and enterprise system protocols.
- Experience with monitoring tools and support ticketing systems.
- Good command of English (communicative level) and French.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with cloud services and ITSM frameworks is a plus.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or relevant vendor-specific certifications.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment or remote support.
Language required for the role: English (Communicative), French (Good command).
