This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As an Application Support Engineer, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for driving the advancement of applications as a Senior Application Engineer for our client in the financial industry, showcasing innovation, agility, and an unswerving dedication to client satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users experiencing issues with applications

  • Monitor application performance and ensure system availability, escalating issues as necessary

  • Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs

  • Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference

  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders in French to understand and address their needs

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

  • Fluent in French, with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous experience in application support or a related technical role

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner

  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well under pressure
