Automation Tester

This is a Hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity.

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will work for our client – a European leader in payment services! You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of payment applications through automated testing expertise.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for test scenarios across various projects

• Conduct automation feasibility studies and ROI analyses to determine the suitability of automation for testing processes

• Execute automated test campaigns and report on their outcomes, ensuring thorough coverage and accuracy

• Collaborate with development teams to implement test-driven development approaches and model-based testing methodologies

• Utilize automation tools such as Micro Focus UFT, Soap UI, Postman, and Robot framework to streamline testing processes

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 2+ years of experience in automation testing, with proficiency in scripting languages like VBA/VBS, PowerShell, BourneShell, KSH, Python, and Java.

• Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience working with automation tools like Micro Focus UFT, Soap UI, Postman, Robot Framework, and Jenkins for orchestration and automation.

• ISTQB certification, preferably in Foundation, Test Manager, or Analyst test.

• Fluency in French and English
