Business Analyst – Corporate and Investment Banking

This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Business Analyst, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for driving business analysis initiatives for our esteemed financial client, championing innovation, agility, and an unwavering dedication to client satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities:

• Act as a key between users and IT teams, addressing and resolving functional issues

• Document production issues comprehensively, analyze them, and propose structured solutions

• Lead the implementation of system changes based on user requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs

• Develop and customize reports and data extractions using SQL and internal tools to meet user specifications

• Facilitate functional requirements gathering sessions with various business units and validate documentation with stakeholders

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial industry

• Proficiency in agile methodologies, with experience in Jira being advantageous

• Strong SQL skills and experience in process design, implementation, and testing

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
