Cobol Developer

Join the team of experts responsible to build a new way to rate banking corporate clients!

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a COBOL Developer, you will be working for our client – a banking group dedicated to asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, banks, private equity and real estate funds, brokers and corporate clients.. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications using the COBOL programming language.

 Your main responsibilities:

• Maintenance and development
• Technical Analysis
• Technical documentation
• Estimation of tickets
• Unit testing

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge in COBOL, DB2, JCL, ISPF/TSO
• English: B2
• Knowledge of Banking Business concepts
• Good communications skills
• Good analysis and organization skills
• Able to estimate effort
• Rigor (deadline and feedback)
• Maintain productivity in challenging circumstances
• Ability to work independently
