Data Engineer – Homebanking

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Data Engineer, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions that support various business units within the bank.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work on building Datalab and Datamart solutions using Teradata technology

• Develop solutions for data collection, storage, processing, and provisioning

• Create data exposure views for analytical or management tools like MSBI or Qlik Sense

• Contribute to both project activities and ongoing operational tasks

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in using Teradata for data management and analysis

• Strong skills in SQL and relational database management systems

• Experience working in Unix environments

• Knowledge of best practices in development and modeling under Teradata BTEQ

• Proficiency with tools like GIT, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, and Zeenea

• A service-oriented mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical abilities, organizational skills, teamwork, autonomy, and curiosity.

• Fluency in French
