This is a Hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity.

As a Cloudflare Data Operations Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our client’s telecommunications journey, leveraging Cloudflare’s cutting-edge technology to redefine the digital experience. You’ll be instrumental in optimizing and maintaining data infrastructure, managing Kubernetes clusters, designing resilient data pipelines, implementing effective metric collection, and collaborating on data quality enhancement to drive continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Utilizing Cloudflare solutions to optimize and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring the seamless operation of containerized applications
• Developing and maintaining robust data pipelines using scripting and programming languages, with a focus on Cloudflare’s best practices
• Setting up and managing Cloudflare-powered metric collection technologies (e.g., Cloudflare Logs, Cloudflare Radar) for comprehensive system and application monitoring
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a Cloudflare-centric environment to enhance data quality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data-related processes
• Harnessing Cloudflare’s advanced analytics capabilities to identify patterns, extract insights, and perform statistical analyses on complex datasets

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in operating systems, particularly Linux, coupled with adept skills in Shell scripting and Cloudflare’s command-line tools
• Extensive knowledge of Cloudflare-powered Kubernetes clusters and Docker/Containers, with hands-on experience in implementing Cloudflare Load Balancers, Workers, and other services
• Experience in configuring and managing Cloudflare-powered metric collection solutions for monitoring infrastructure and application performance
• Familiarity with Cloudflare Stream for real-time data processing and Cloudflare Workers for serverless computing
• Understanding of Cloudflare’s data caching and optimization techniques, along with expertise in optimizing performance through Cloudflare Workers KV and other Cloudflare services
