Fullstack Java Developer – Corporate and Investment Banking

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a Senior Fullstack Java Developer for our client, you’ll be at the forefront of data solutions, crafting applications on cutting-edge platforms. You will be responsible for Developing end-to-end Java-based applications on advanced platforms to deliver innovative data solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a new application, covering both front-end (Angular) and back-end (Java, Spring Boot) components

• Design scalable and maintainable software architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular frameworks to meet business requirements

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, manage database schema, and ensure data integrity and performance

• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to understand requirements, provide updates, and deliver high-quality solutions

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language, with experience in developing scalable and high-performance back-end applications using the Spring Boot framework

• Proficiency in Angular framework for developing dynamic and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications

• Solid understanding of SQL databases including database design, optimization, and query performance tuning

• Proficiency in English language at B2 level or higher

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and delivery of quality solutions
