IT Risk and security officer

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity 

As an IT Risk and security officer, you will be working for our client – a European leader in payment services. You will be responsible for deploying cybersecurity awareness campaigns to educate and inform staff.

Your main responsibilities:

• Deploy cybersecurity awareness campaigns to educate and inform staff on security best practices
• Provide support to business lines in the risk analysis process, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management
• Follow up on cybersecurity incidents and requests, coordinating responses to maintain a secure IT environment
• Manage audits and collaborate with the IT group provider to ensure timely remediation of identified issues
• Be responsible for the IT backup plan and IT scenarios of the business continuity plan
• Conduct annual exercises to validate and enhance the business continuity strategy
• Respond to group controls and reporting requirements related to IT security
• Work on security engagements and documentation for clients, ensuring compliance with security standards
• Support committees by providing inputs and metrics related to IT security
• Occasionally drive IT security projects with stakeholders, ensuring successful implementation

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Business and management-focused role with a strong understanding of IT security principles
• Proficiency in French is highly appreciated due to interactions with French speakers in the group
• Experience in cybersecurity awareness campaigns and risk analysis
• Familiarity with incident management processes and audit coordination
• Knowledge of business continuity planning and execution
• Ability to respond to group controls and reporting needs
• Strong project management skills for occasional IT security projects
