Java Developer – Leasing and Factoring

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Java Developer, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our customer platform ECL and the LeaseNet banking program, available online and on mobile devices.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and SCALA (Play).
• Build and optimize queries for relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Implement CI/CD processes using Kubernetes and Argo CD.
• Analyze and make minor changes to front-end code using Angular.
• Collaborate with a team of developers in Lisbon and France.
• Participate in daily Agile meetings and regular demonstrations for project updates.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with relational databases and building queries.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and SCALA (Play).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Kubernetes and Argo CD.
• Experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1) and French (B2).
