Azure Cloud Specialist

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As an Azure Cloud Specialist, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure to meet evolving business needs.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and create Azure Landing Zones in collaboration with various technical departments (Infrastructure, Production, Security)

• Establish standards for cloud infrastructure and ensure adherence to best practices in security and efficiency

• Assist in the migration of existing projects to the Azure platform, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources

• Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve processes and deliverables

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones.

• Familiarity with managing and deploying containerized applications using AKS

• Proficiency in writing and maintaining Terraform scripts for Infrastructure as Code

• Ability to develop and automate tasks using Python programming

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, suitable for collaboration and documentation
