Junior Cobol Developer

Join the team of experts responsible to build a new way to rate banking corporate clients!

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a Cobol Developer, you will be working for our client – a banking group dedicated to asset management, insurance, pension funds, banking, private equity and real estate funds, brokers, and corporate clients. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications using Cobol programming language. 

Your main responsibilities:

• Development in Cobol programming language
• Conduct the testing phases of the process
• Support in delivery 
• Support all applications
• Do the on-call for all applications
• Do the deployment in the releases
• Communication between the BA and IT side
• Perform on-call for all applications

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Knowledge of Cobol (mainframe) 
• Knowledge of JCL
• Knowledge of DB2
• Knowledge of Telon
• Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline
• Fluent in English
• German knowledge would be a plus
