Lisbon-based opportunity with a possibility to work remotely 2 days a week

ITDS Portugal is a fast-growing company providing IT Engineers Outsourcing, Product Development, and Integration services for the financial, fintech, e-commerce, and healthcare industries. We are now seeking to strengthen our Finance team with a motivated Junior Finance Controller who will support our daily accounting, payroll, and financial operations to ensure smooth business growth.

Your Main Responsibilities: supporting Finance at ITDS

• Accounts Payable / Receivable: posting supplier invoices, issuing client invoices, monitoring payment deadlines
  
• Treasury: preparing weekly/monthly payment listings, supporting cashflow preparation
  
• Processing & Records: bank reconciliations, data entry into the ERP/accounting system, and organizing financial documents
  
• Reporting: supporting data collection for reporting, budget vs. actual controls, and month-end closing
  
• Payroll & HR Support: collecting absenteeism/benefits/overtime data, validating timesheets, assisting payroll processing with the accounting firm, ensuring compliance with Portuguese laws
  
• Communication: liaising with suppliers, customers, and employees on invoicing, payments, and payroll matters

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  
• Experience in tax and payroll, with knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation
  
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
  
• Knowledge of Business Central (preferred)
  
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
