Junior Fullstack Developer – Wealth Management

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a Junior Fullstack Developer, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications to support the functionality of Indosuez Wealth Management’s platforms

• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless interaction between the back-end and front-end systems

• Review code written by peers to ensure adherence to coding standards and promote best practices

• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and issues in the application to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction

• Participate in the design and planning of new features and system architecture to enhance the application’s capabilities

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Solid understanding and experience with Java17, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security

• Familiarity with Angular, CSS, and NgRx to effectively collaborate with front-end teams

• Competence in using JUnit and Jest for writing and maintaining unit tests

• Basic experience with Docker for containerizing applications

• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in an English-speaking environment; French is optional but a plus
