Provide critical support in a dynamic banking environment.
This hybrid role is based in Porto, with 2 days per week in the office.
You will be responsible for providing front-line and second-line support, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction within a complex IT environment. This role is not a typical helpdesk position but focuses on application support in a financial setting.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide L1 and L2 support for business-critical applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by investigating logs, source code, and user queries.
- Monitor application performance and ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Collaborate with users and technical teams to solve incidents efficiently.
- Document issues and solutions, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, enhancing user satisfaction.
Key qualifications:
- Academic background in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in L1 and L2 IT support roles, particularly in application support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in SQL and understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Fluent in English (B2 level or higher); French is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and ITIL practices is advantageous.
