Manual Tester – Payments and Services

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Manual Tester, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all scenarios are tested for the technical solutions produced by the tech team.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure error-free solutions for all deliverables across projects.

• Development of test strategy and test plan to cover project requirements thoroughly.

• Construction of datasets necessary for accurate test execution.

• Preparation (design) of functional tests aligned with project specifications.

• Execution of the functional test campaign to verify solution integrity.

• Preparation of reports documenting test results and findings.

• Participate in daily and project key meetings to stay aligned with project progress

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• More than 3 years of experience as a QA/Manual Tester.

• Experience in the banking sector across areas like front-middle-back office, transaction teams, and others.

• Familiarity with payment systems like Instant Payments, SEPA, and Exchanges.

• Proficiency in French (B2 level) for daily communication with the French-speaking team.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.

• Experience working in a Waterfall methodology, with some projects using Agile.

• Familiarity with ALM (primary tool for projects), and experience with SQL.

• API testing experience with Postman (preferred) as a valuable plus.
