Location & work model
Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry dedicated to advancing risk assessment and credit rating systems. Your expertise will shape the evolution of core applications used for counterparty rating and LGD calculations, supporting the delivery of precise, compliant, and innovative solutions. Your main responsibilities:
- Gather user requirements, perform requirements analysis, and write functional specifications to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Conduct quality assurance by defining, executing, and reviewing test cases to ensure system integrity.
- Develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders, providing expert support and fostering collaboration.
- Design, document, and maintain system processes, ensuring clarity and efficiency for ongoing operations.
- Offer first-line support to users, addressing issues promptly to maintain operational continuity.
- Apply best practices for effective communication, problem-solving, and agile development within a Scrum framework.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in system functionality, quality, and user experience.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst or in related IT projects within financial institutions.
- Solid understanding of Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or Banking.
- Basic SQL knowledge (nice to have).
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic environment.
- Autonomous, structured, and proactive work style.
- Client-centric mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of French language.
- Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (must-have).
- French (nice-to-have).
