Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 remote days/week).
As a Mid-Level QA Analyst (French/English), You’ll help define and execute end-to-end testing for new features and product releases—combining meticulous manual exploration with robust automation to strengthen quality across complex software.
Your main responsibilities:

Define, document, and implement a comprehensive test strategy and detailed test plans for new features and releases.

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript to increase coverage and efficiency.

Contribute to QA tooling and automation infrastructure, including the selection and maintenance of QA-related tools.

Identify, document, and track defects in the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira) and collaborate with development teams to drive timely resolution.

Provide clear status reporting on testing progress, defects, and risks to stakeholders.

Continuously improve QA processes and advocate for best practices across methodologies and tools.

Work effectively in an Agile environment—support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while aligning with product managers and developers on quality expectations.
You're ideal for this role if you have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a meaningful focus on test strategy and automation.

Proven experience establishing and leading testing strategies for complex software products.

Hands-on expertise writing automated tests using Playwright with JavaScript.

Strong manual testing skills across functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).

Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical issues and testing outcomes.

Familiarity with bug tracking and testing workflows (e.g., Jira) and relevant test management concepts.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Experience with other programming languages.

ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
Language Required for the role :

French: Native or near-native (written and spoken).
