This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Murex Developer, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the stability and functionality of our client’s financial operations through agile collaboration and innovative solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform corrective and evolving maintenance tasks on the Murex software package, ensuring its stability and functionality

• Work collaboratively within an agile framework, communicating effectively with team members to prioritize and address tasks

• Ensure the quality of code deliveries by conducting thorough testing and adhering to established coding standards and best practices

• Share expertise and knowledge with team members, contributing to a culture of learning and skill development

• Participate in the enhancement of development processes and tools, as well as the automation of tests, to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of application development and maintenance

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Knowledge of Murex (Datamart, MSL, Exchange MXML)

• Pre and post-trade workflow knowledge

• MRA/MRB module experience

• PL analysis and simulation screens experience

• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle), PL SQL, Unix/Linux, Java, Shell Scripting, GIT

• Communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken

• Good proficiency at analyzing problems and finding solutions

• Work well with others in different teams and adapt to different working styles
