This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a .Net Developer, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for driving software development excellence through innovation, agility, and client-centric solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participate in the migration process from .NET Framework 4 to .NET 8, ensuring smooth transition and compatibility

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and enhance backend applications using C# while adhering to SOLID principles and design patterns

• Conduct unit and integration testing to maintain code quality and identify any performance bottlenecks or bugs

• Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of existing codebase, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness of applications

• Actively engage in problem-solving discussions, offer solutions, and support teammates in resolving technical issues

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in .NET 4 and .NET 8, along with experience in backend application development using C#

• Familiarity with SOLID principles, design patterns, and adherence to coding best practices

• Demonstrated experience in unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability and quality

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment

• Willingness to learn about trading and finance, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and demanding work environment

• Fluency in English: B2
