Pentester – Cybersecurity

This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Pentester, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will identify and assess vulnerabilities in our clients’ systems, networks, and applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end penetration testing on various systems, networks, and applications
• Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities to assess the resilience of client environments
• Analyze and interpret penetration test results, providing clear and comprehensive reports to clients
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and address identified vulnerabilities
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments on web applications, mobile applications, and infrastructure
• Evaluate security controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks effectively
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and attack vectors
• Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide guidance on remediation strategies and best practices

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience in penetration testing methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in assessing web applications, mobile applications, and network infrastructure
• Preferred certifications include OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, or other relevant certifications.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and networks to identify security vulnerabilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Capability to mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing
• Fluency in English
