PL/SQL Devleoper (ODI) – Leasing and Factoring

This is a Hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity.

As a PL/SQL Developer (ODI), you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data integration solutions using PL/SQL and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL scripts and procedures to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval within Oracle databases

• Utilize Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to design and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for seamless data integration between various systems and applications

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and PL/SQL code, optimizing database and ETL processes for enhanced efficiency and responsiveness

• Contribute to data modeling efforts, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices, collaborating with data architects to maintain a robust data model

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive documentation for PL/SQL code, ETL processes, and data model

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in developing and maintaining PL/SQL scripts and procedures within Oracle databases

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging ODI for ETL development, including designing and implementing data integration processes

• Ability to identify and resolve performance issues in SQL queries and PL/SQL code, optimizing database and ETL processes for efficiency

• Understanding of data modeling principles and practices, with the ability to contribute to and maintain a robust data model aligned with business requirements

• Proficiency in French and English
