This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will be working for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients. You will be responsible for making the best use of clients’ needs and feedback when making decisions

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop UNIX scripts and FORTRAN sub-routines 
• Write SQL and UNIX scripts to automate the system 
• Support DOD agency needs in accomplishing engineer technical and non-technical goals associated with wireless LAN technology products
• Translate prototype designs into HTML and CSS elements
• Provide automation product and system application expertise
• Develop playbooks and migration assessment tools
• Support the development of software and hardware conversion tools

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7 years of software engineering experience
• Demonstrated expertise in C , Java, and HTML
• Experience developing enterprise-level applications
• Knowledge of database systems – SQL and Oracle
