As a Senior Banking and Consulting Leader – Internal Transformation, you will be working for our client, a major financial group. You will spearhead the creation and development of a high-impact internal consulting unit in Portugal, driving strategic transformation initiatives and embedding a new consulting capability within the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence large-scale banking transformations and foster innovation within a global financial leader.

Your main responsibilities:

• Roll out the vision, strategy, and operating model for the internal consulting unit in Portugal
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
• Lead consulting engagements on major transformation and integration initiatives across the Group
• Oversee a portfolio of large-scale projects ensuring delivery excellence
• Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization
• Promote and develop new and existing consulting services within the Group
• Contribute to the evolution of consulting methods, tools, and best practices
• Foster knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and thought leadership within Internal Consulting

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in banking and consulting
• Proven track record managing and executing bank integration projects
• Experience working with or within international financial groups
• Fluent in English and French (mandatory)
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
• Ability to translate complex strategies into actionable initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management and organizational development experience

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of additional languages or certifications in project management or consulting methodologies

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English and French
