Senior Business Analyst – Financial Risk & PnL Systems

As a Senior Business Analyst – Financial Risk & PnL Systems, you will be working for our client, a leading financial organization dedicated to delivering precise profitability metrics and risk management solutions. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the PnL system responsible for loading, certifying, and publishing key financial indicators, collaborating across international teams to enhance system functionality and accuracy. Your main responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and functional specifications to ensure system alignment with business needs
• Design, document, and maintain system processes to optimize performance and compliance
• Conduct quality assurance by defining and executing test cases to guarantee accuracy and reliability
• Own relationships with internal clients, working closely to identify opportunities for new features and improvements
• Coordinate across teams to anticipate dependencies, remove blockers, and facilitate seamless project delivery
• Serve as the business knowledge reference for the development team, bridging communication and proactively chasing answers when needed
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles within financial institutions
• Academic or professional background in Economics, Finance, Market Data, or Risk Management
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Fluency in French
• Prior experience working on IT projects within financial organizations

Language required for the role:

• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level command)
