Senior Business Analyst – Investment Banking

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to enhance business performance and drive growth

Your main responsibilities:

• Performing requirements analysis from the business clients
• Understand the application and be the bridge between the client and the developers in terms of communication of needs and requirements
• Reassure the business of the progress of the evolution
• Assistance to the Product Manager of the team
• Functional analyses with the purpose of correcting errors that the product might have
• Support the design of new functional features and improvements
• Functional support for the application
• Participates in the definition of functional solutions
• Teamwork in Agile mode (with the preparation of Epic and User Story)
• Preparation and presentation of the functional and ergonomic model of WEB page
• Preparation and execution of test plan and test campaign
• Writing functional documentation
• Understand the database of the application and write simple queries

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience in BA and function 2 – 5 years (in the banking industry it’s a plus)
• Strong capacity for analysis and synthesis, proactive, team worker, time management, adaptable, problem-solving, and creativity
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in French (mandatory) and English (it’s a plus)
