Senior Business Analyst/Tester

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a Business Analyst-Tester, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and ensuring the quality of software through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Your main responsibilities:

• Create and review detailed functional specifications to ensure they meet project requirements and standards

• Write test cases based on specifications and perform manual testing to validate software functionality.

• Develop and run automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency

• Use analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in software development and testing processes

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and effective communication

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in software development, with the ability to create and review functional specifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the banking industry, with knowledge of core banking applications and transactions

• Experience in writing and executing both manual and automated test cases, ensuring thorough testing coverage

• Proficiency in SQL, data dictionary, and data modeling, with the ability to query and manage databases

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. French is nice a plus
