Senior C++ Developer

This is an exciting opportunity in Porto to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications across both Windows and Linux platforms.

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days from home per week.

As a Senior C++ Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions that meet client needs, while maintaining a focus on performance optimization and multi-threaded programming.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications using C++.
• Build efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Ensure the highest quality and performance of applications.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and bugs, providing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Contribute to version control, using Git for code management.
• Maintain and enhance multi-threaded programming solutions.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 6 to 9 years of experience in C++ Development.
• Proficiency in C++11 (C++17 experience is a plus).
• Proven experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with additional languages (Python, Java) is a plus.
