Senior Cloud Specialist

As a Senior Cloud Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial technology industry. As part of a senior and highly committed team, you will design, build and maintain the new cloud platform that allows the firm to scale.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain the organization's new cloud platform to support its growth.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across public and private cloud providers.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Work with public and private cloud solutions, including Azure and OpenStack.
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, OpenShift).
• Administer Linux systems (RedHat, Ubuntu) and core networking (DNS, TCP, HTTP).
• Support data and monitoring stacks including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ELK and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Manage configuration using Helm, Consul and Vault.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions such as GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with GitOps solutions such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with public and private cloud platforms (Azure, OpenStack).
• Experience with container orchestrators (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, OpenShift).
• Strong Linux administration skills and solid networking fundamentals.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Helm, Consul, Vault).
• A proactive, autonomous approach and comfort working in an agile (Scrum) environment.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with microservices, containerization and cloud/serverless architecture patterns.
• A passion for automation and an affinity with financial markets and wealth management.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English.
