As a Senior DevOps Coach, you will be working for our client, a leader in digital infrastructure, committed to transforming and optimizing IT operations through innovative automation, cloud, and container platforms. Your expertise will help shape the future of enterprise cloud solutions, empowering teams to achieve DevOps excellence and delivering scalable, secure, and efficient systems.
Your main responsibilities:
- Coach development and operations teams to enhance their DevOps maturity, practices, and autonomy.
- Support, optimize, and promote CI/CD tooling and automation practices across multiple teams.
- Follow application maturity levels and help teams define targeted improvement strategies.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Contribute to solution studies, technical design decisions, and strategic DevOps transformation initiatives.
- Act as the local manager in Lisbon, ensuring team coordination, alignment, and effective communication with global management.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related fields.
- Strong expertise with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, XL Deploy, Argo CD, and Ansible.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and operating models.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation tasks.
- Proven ability to coach technical teams and facilitate DevOps adoption.
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation practices.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Previous experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Experience acting as a team lead, local manager, or technical referent.
Language required for the role:
- English (Communicative level minimum)
- French (proficient level preferred)
