Senior DevOps Engineer 

Develop and implement agile infrastructures

This is a hybrid Porto-based opportunity

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for Client – a leader in corporate and investment banking. You will be responsible for helping in all production tasks such as tools upgrading, monitoring, assure the quality of service to support IT teams in the use of agile infrastructures

Your main responsibilities: Building DevOps solutions

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders
• Automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code and analysing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• At least 4 to 5 years experience as a  DevOps Engineer or related role
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, TFS, Azure DevOps, XL Deploy & Release
• Good knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of the use and creation of APIs to automate
• DevOps mindset
• Good level of English – minimum B2 (mandatory)
• Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and evolve
• Good communication skills
• Good priority definition skills
• The ability to analyse and synthesis
