Senior Fullstack Java Developer (Spring/Angular)

This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Senior Fullstack Java Developer, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable full-stack Java applications to support critical financial operations while adhering to industry best practices, security standards, and client-centric requirements.

Your main responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Java programming languages at least 5 years

• Develop and automate Network Security administration tasks to enhance the security capacities

• Analyze, validate, and review code according to team specifications, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards

• Participate in coding sprints and continuous improvement efforts to enhance network security automation processes

• Automate the implementation of security rules to streamline network security management

• Document tools, operating modes, troubleshooting procedures, and other relevant information for effective use and maintenance

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Good understanding of web applications and API architectures to develop effective security solutions

• Extensive experience with the Angular framework, with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience

• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts to integrate automated security processes into deployment pipelines

• Comfortable working with Agile and DevOps methodologies to collaborate effectively within the development team

• Ability to coach junior developers, providing guidance and support in implementing security automation solutions

• Basic knowledge in security is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of security principles and practices to contribute effectively to network security development efforts

• Fluency in English: B2
