As a Senior IBM BAW Workflow Developer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in treasury solutions within the banking and finance industry. You'll play a pivotal role in transforming treasury and trade finance processes through the design and deployment of advanced workflow solutions, supporting digitization initiatives that elevate operational excellence and client experience. This position offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of innovation, shaping the future of financial automation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
- Configure IBM BAW artifacts, including Process Designer, Process Portal, and Coach/Coach View UI frameworks, to meet specific business needs.
- Build BAW Coach-based user interfaces and contribute to front-end component development for intuitive user interactions.
- Integrate IBM BAW processes with external enterprise systems via REST and SOAP Web Services to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration tests to validate process integrity and embedded business rules.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, API contracts, and process diagrams to facilitate team collaboration and project transparency.
- Collaborate proactively with multi-site teams across Paris and Porto through Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 8+ years of experience in workflow development, particularly with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) or IBM Case Manager.
- Proven expertise in process modeling, Business Process Definitions (BPDs), and configuring process artifacts.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP Web Services, SOA architecture, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/ECMAScript, SQL/PL-SQL, and scripting practices for process logic.
- Experience working with Git/Bitbucket, Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), and project management tools like JIRA.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Java/J2EE experience for custom service and backend extension development.
- Familiarity with Angular for creating rich, custom frontend components outside native BAW coaches.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and API documentation standards (Swagger, Confluence).
Language required for the role:
Fluent English proficiency is essential.
