Senior Java/Angular Fullstack Developer – Insurance

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for developing high-quality code that meets functional and technical specifications, ensuring code integrity through unit testing, and contributing to the successful deployment and maintenance of critical systems.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop code in accordance with functional and technical specifications

• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure integrity and reliability

• Execute unit tests to validate code functionality

• Resolve, test, and redeploy UAT failures

• Ensure proper system deployment is aligned with the implementation strategy

• Contribute to post-Go-live checks on the system platform and other impacted systems

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Over 5 years of experience in Java and Angular development

• Proficiency in English and French (B2 level)

• Ability to understand and analyze functional specifications

• Experience in conducting code reviews and unit testing

• Knowledge of build procedures and incident analysis

• Familiarity with pair programming and code quality audits

• Capacity to manage interactions with Application Managers and other stakeholders
