As a Senior Java Backend Developer – Cloud and Microservices, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial IT solutions. You will help develop and enhance the SPART project, creating integrated tools that optimize operational processes in Supply Chain Finance, particularly in Middle and Back Office functions. This is a multi-year initiative designed to support business growth and maximize revenue, offering a unique chance to impact digital transformation at a high level.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust back-end components for the SPART platform using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement and manage containerized applications utilizing Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Sonar, XLDeploy, and XLRelease.
• Manage and optimize database operations on Oracle Exadata storage.
• Create automated tests and participate in unit and behavior-driven testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align project goals effectively.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 8 years of experience as a Back End Developer, preferably within the financial sector or similar environment.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Solid SQL skills for database management and optimization.
• Deep understanding of automated testing frameworks, unit testing, and behavior-driven development.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Sonar, XLDeploy, and XLRelease.
• Experience working with Oracle Exadata storage systems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud service integrations.
• Skills in performance tuning and system optimization.
