Senior Java Developer – Regulatory Systems

As a Senior Java Developer – Regulatory Systems, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial industry. You will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge regulatory solutions, supporting compliance projects that impact global markets. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain regulatory software applications, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met
• Collaborate with international team members to validate and implement system changes
• Write detailed technical specifications and documentation for new solutions
• Manage development and UAT environments to support seamless delivery and testing phases
• Assist production teams in incident resolution, daily checks, and operational support
• Participate in the development of new regulatory reporting solutions
• Follow best practices in CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, preferably in financial services
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and Angular 10
• Hands-on experience with REST API, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Bitbucket, and Linux/OpenShift environments
• Proficiency with SQL, Oracle, and SingleStore databases
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MIFID 2, EMIR REFIT, OTC, Collateral, and listed derivatives
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile practices, and development best practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with C# for TRR target SAKIORI
• Knowledge of XL Release, XL Deploy, and CtrlM tools
• Certifications or additional expertise in financial regulatory domains

Fluent English (spoken and written)
