This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Senior Pentester, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for conducting rigorous penetration testing and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses within the organization’s financial systems and infrastructure while providing actionable recommendations for remediation and continuously improving the overall security posture to safeguard against cyber threats and protect client assets.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain logs analysis and correlation rules for the SIEM alerting system, including creating search algorithms and conducting investigation and statistical analysis

• Test and enhance detection alerts and security tools through penetration tests, providing recommendations for improvement and advising IT teams on cyber security investigations

• Conduct security assessments on IT infrastructure and web applications, delivering comprehensive reports of findings and presenting results to technical and non-technical audiences

• Participate in training activities to increase expertise in new vulnerabilities, methods, and tools related to cyber security

• Collaborate with the Blue Team to coordinate security activities and participate in simulated attack exercises to test response capabilities

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, at a minimum B2 level, to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders

• Ability to design and implement innovative security solutions, prioritizing workload effectively to meet deadlines and objectives

• Demonstrated willingness to research new security testing techniques and stay updated on the latest trends in computer security

• Strong ability to work independently and within a team, with a customer-focused approach and attention to detail to ensure optimal security

• Versatility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, along with experience in Agile project management
