Senior Production Platform Controller – Banking Sector

Are you ready to take control of production platforms and ensure optimal performance in a fast-paced environment?

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 2x per week in the office.

As a Senior Production Platform Controller, you will work with our prestigious banking client, ensuring the smooth operation and evolution of their production systems. You will play a key role in monitoring and maintaining platform performance, troubleshooting issues, and driving improvements to ensure service quality.

Your main responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the production platform (VTOM, Zabbix, AppDynamics) ensuring QOS and system synchronizations.
• Manage and update alerts, templates, and triggers; troubleshoot and optimize processes with scripts.
• Oversee platform performance, analyze behavior, and ensure capacity planning.
• Create, update, and follow up on tickets across various helpdesks (JIRA, Meniga, Powens, SUN).
• Plan and execute installations, coordinate with DBAs, and manage certificates (DSP2, load balancers).
• Participate in meetings with key teams (architects, Scrum Masters, developers) and prepare reports.
• Follow up on system vulnerabilities, server migrations, and platform audits.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Solid experience with production tools (VTOM, Zabbix, AppDynamics) and monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana).
• Proficiency in deployment tools (GIT, XL Deploy, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Strong Linux and Windows system knowledge, with scripting skills (Shell, Powershell).
• Soft skills: English at B2 level, French at A2 level, adaptability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
• Availability for on-call duties.
