Senior Python Developer

This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for Driving the development of robust and scalable Python-based solutions, leveraging your expertise to innovate and deliver high-quality software products.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) application for the market risk chain

• Ensure global follow-up of the market risk chain and provide detailed views of component activities

• Work in a DevOps environment, implementing TDD, Continuous Testing, Packaging, and Continuous Delivery practices

• Collaborate with teams to implement BAM based on services and components of the Big Data platform

• Guarantee almost real-time restitution of activity on the Market-Risk chain, propose optimization strategies, and develop APIs for functionality exposure

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience as a Python developer

• Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and branching strategies

• Familiarity with NoSQL RDBMS (Elasticsearch) and Unix scripting

• Fluency in English
