As a Senior Virtualization Administrator (VMware/KVM), you will be working for our client to implement and operate virtualization solutions that support diverse workloads while optimizing performance and availability. You will help ensure smooth integration with the existing infrastructure and strengthen the virtual environment through automation, hardening, upgrades, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery readiness.
Your main responsibilities:

Implement and maintain virtualization solutions using technologies such as VMware, XenServer, and KVM.

Design and manage virtual networks, storage, and compute resources to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.

Automate virtualization operations and recurring tasks using PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash.

Perform MCO activities for the virtualized environment, including patching, upgrades, and hardening (CIS).

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues across virtual environments to reduce downtime and improve stability.

Monitor system performance and use SolarWinds dashboards to support troubleshooting and proactive problem detection.

Participate in migration activities and support DRP testing for high availability and disaster recovery.

Handle operational support by checking and resolving support tickets and providing on-call support as required.
You're ideal for this role if you have:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar virtualization admin role.

Strong knowledge of virtualization environments, including VMware, XenServer, KVM, hardening, and automation.

Hands-on experience with SolarWinds for monitoring, dashboards, and troubleshooting.

Solid networking understanding: DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and SSL VPNs.

Proven scripting capability, especially with PowerShell.

Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in virtualized environments.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and support user enablement/training.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Azure cloud knowledge.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and Windows Server.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident and change management.
Language Required for the role :
- English at Communicative level (B2–C1).
