Site Reliability Engineer

This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As an SRE, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and resilience of critical systems and applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and establish common practices & standards for increasing service resilience

• Evaluate and recommend new technology to improve the existing ecosystem

• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity

• Monitor applications and infrastructure in an effective way, compliant with the established SLA for all business lines, with reliability and scalability in mind

• Work on development and operations activities, using DevOps practices, build and promote CI/CD approach on systems and applications

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role

• Experience in a Software, Infrastructure, Systems, and/or Site Reliability Engineering role

• Automated CI/CD process (XLR/XLD tools)

• Good knowledge of the Linux environment

• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python);

• Good knowledge of monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix)

• Good knowledge of scheduling tools (ideally VTOM or CONTROL-M)

• Knowledge of Salesforce Customer and API Management cloud solutions would be beneficial

• Knowledge of Adobe Campaign solutions would be beneficial
