Tech Lead – Android

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As an Android Lead for our client, you’ll be at the forefront of data solutions, crafting applications on cutting-edge platforms. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-performance Android applications, leveraging the latest technologies to drive impactful solutions in the data realm.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead Android app development using Kotlin and Jet Compose, ensuring adherence to best practices

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Android team, promoting skill development

• Collaborate with teams to define technical requirements and ensure timely feature delivery

• Advocate for modern Android practices, including UI design and code modularity

• Conduct code reviews, ensure testing coverage, and maintain code quality

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in Kotlin for Android app development, with experience in shipping apps

• Strong understanding of Jet Compose and modern UI frameworks

• Leadership experience, guiding and mentoring Android developers

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban

• Excellent English communication skills for technical discussions and cross-team collaboration
