Senior Java Developer

Join the team of experts responsible to build a new way to rate banking corporate clients!

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client – a banking group dedicated to asset management, insurance, pension funds, banking, private equity and real estate funds, brokers, and corporate clients. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolution of the application in the Fund Administration department, working on projects, performing technical analysis, giving support, and once the resource is autonomous being able to perform On Call activity.

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintenance and development
• Technical Analysis
• Redaction of technical documentation
• Estimation of tickets
• Unit testing

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 8 years of experience in development
• 8 years of experience in database implementation and maintenance
• Knowledge of Java 8
• Good proficiency in angular
• Have experience/knowledge with RX JS – mandatory
• Knowledge of Spring
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Oracle
• Knowledge of Hibernate
• Knowledge of JUnit
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Maven 
• Knowledge of Ant
• Fluent in English
