JavaScript Team Leader

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3x home per week

As a Team Leader, you will be working for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients. You will be responsible for motivating your teammates as well as inspiring positive communication within them so that they can work together toward achieving goals

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage daily team activities and facilitate interactions with French teams
• Inspire the team to meet performance goals
• Create and follow a timeline to reach targets
• Recognize training needs for team members
• Equip team members with skills to boost confidence, product understanding, and communication
• Carry out performance reviews and offer feedback
• Collaborate with management to plan local activity development strategies
• Collect metrics, calculate KPIs, and contribute to setting team goals
• Engage in hands-on development alongside the team

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• English: B2
• French: B2
• Degree in IT or a related field from a university/college
• 2+ years of experience as a Team Leader
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS
• Proficiency in semantic HTML5
• Proficient in version control systems like Git
