As a Senior QA Engineer – API and Automation Expertise, you will be working for our client, Daloop, an innovative software solutions provider owned by Galp. Daloop is shaping the future of mobility through technology, empowering the Iberian mobility market to lead with "Mobility for Good." Your expertise will ensure our products uphold the highest standards of quality, supporting our mission of creating smarter, more reliable mobility solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Define test cases and test plans based on requirements and user stories.
• Plan QA efforts within the team scope, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Document software defects and report them to the feature teams for resolution.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Improve QA functional and automated procedures to enhance efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
• Mentor team members to foster QA knowledge growth across the organization.
• Analyze product requirements to develop effective test strategies and scenarios.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle.
• Design and oversee manual, automated, exploratory, and API testing strategies.
• Proactively log, prioritize, and facilitate root cause analysis of defects.
• Drive adoption of modern QA methodologies and process improvements.
• Track QA metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Stay current with QA industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions for Daloop.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 7 years of proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
• Experience leading QA efforts across multiple production releases, either independently or within a team.
• Skilled in testing REST APIs with tools like Postman, UI testing of backoffice/admin panels, and exploratory testing.
• Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, and accountability in production QA deliveries.
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and industry best practices.
• Experience with Jira or similar tools, and Oracle DB.
• Familiarity with Selenium or JMeter is a plus.
• Excellent command of English (fluent) in verbal and written communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with regression automation for end-to-end testing using AI tools.

Language Required for the role:
Fluent English, both spoken and written.
