As a Mid-Level Functional Tester – Climate Impact Application, you will be working for our client, a leading international investment bank with a dedicated environmental assessment platform. Your role will focus on ensuring the quality of the Color Matrix application, an internal tool linking capital allocation to environmental and climate performance. This project involves developing and validating decision trees and indicators crucial for sustainable financing and environmental impact measurement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Developers to understand and refine product requirements.
• Create comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans aligned with project goals.
• Estimate testing efforts and timelines accurately.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality and performance.
• Prepare and present test status reports and issue logs for stakeholder review.
• Analyze test results, collaborate with the development team for issue resolution, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to facilitate smooth client onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes through automation and improved methodologies.
• Take ownership of the complete testing lifecycle when implementing new decision trees, including designing and validating parameters and indicators.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing, preferably in financial or environmental IT projects.
• Proven expertise in writing effective test plans and manual and automated test cases.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA-XRAY (nice to have) and API testing tools like Postman (nice to have).
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation purposes (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Scrum teams.
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of French language.
• Previous experience in environmental or climate-related applications.

Language Required for the role:
Fluent English.
